We are very proud to announce that Hambridge Primary School as been awarded the Gold Mark by the Sainsburys School Games. This is the highest award a school can receive and shows the level of provision and quality of opportunities a school provides.

A big thank you to all the Teachers, Coaches and Parents who have helped out training, delivering sessions, driving children to events and of course supporting. A massive thank you must go to all the children for their dedication and outstanding attitude towards sport.

We received the following feedback regarding our school provision

Extremely impressive provision with lots of opportunities. Dedicated staff that make a big difference. Keen to build on provision year on year. A good example for other schools. Well Done Hambridge and the staff that make it work so well.

Hambridge hosts CLP Year 3/4 Football

On Thursday the 16th June, 2016, Hambridge became the venue for the annual CLP Year 3/4 Football tournament.

9 schools from across the CLP played in a fantastic tournament that was played under sunny conditions.

Just like the European Championships in France, there was plenty of competitive action with all the teams being evenly matched.

After an initial group stage which saw Long Sutton and Curry Mallet advance from Group A and Charlton Mackerel and Hambridge advance from Group B. It came down to the semi finals.

Charlton Mackerel fought their way past Long Sutton and Curry Mallet held off a late fight back from Hambridge to advance into the final in which Curry Mallet proved too strong winning 3-1.

All the teams can be proud of the day they played on an afternoon where football was the real winner.
